About the Journal
Objective and Scope
In 2025, the Revista de Ciencias de la Salud SALMUS was created, whose objective is to provide a reliable channel for the publication of articles reporting scientific and academic research results. It is aimed at researchers and professionals in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Psychology, Health Technology, and any other specialty related to Health Sciences, whether from Ecuador or anywhere in the world.
Its vision is to position itself as one of the leading health sciences journals in Ecuador and the Latin American region, achieving the publication of research results with novelty, scope, and impact on health, teaching, and research related to medical sciences.
The journal is Open Access, and its contents are protected under a Creative Commons 4.0 License.
Publication Frequency
The publication system will be continuous and serial, with one issue every 6 months, that is, two issues per year: the first covering from January to June, and the second extending from July to December.
The editorial process, from the submission of the article to its publication, takes an average of 49 days, according to the statistics of the latest issue.
